We suggest that you visit the museum "Whales of Iceland" first. The exhibition has 23 man-made life size models of whales found in Icelandic waters. The museum features underwater ambient lighting, whale sounds and black and yellow beach-like floor to give you a realistic experience.At the museum you can try virtual reality glasses and get the feeling of being right next to the whales.
For groups of 10 people, a guided tour of the exhibition is included. On the tour bones and teeth are examined. The duration of the guided tour is approx. 45 mins.
It is also possible to download an audio guide app. The duration of the audio guide tour is approx. 30 mins.
The price is per person age 7-18 years.
Price for 19-21 years: 23 EUR
Teachers: 1 free entrance per 10 paying students (all extras pay student rate.)
