Hel Seal Centre
The center is part of the Oceanography Institute of Gdańsk University and the main goal is to protect and spread the knowledge about the Baltic seals. The center accepts ill and wounded animals and nurse them back to health, so they can continue their free life in the nature. When you visit the center, you not only support the place, you also have the opportunity to learn more about the environmental issues of the Baltic through an exhibition. The best time to visit the center is at 11:00-14:00 - at this time you can see a seal feeding show. The center is located in Morska approx. a 1,5-hour drive from Gdansk.Price is for student.
