Wine tasting in the baroque city Eger
Take a visit to the beautiful baroque city, Eger, about 125 km north-east of Budapest. The tour to Eger takes about two hours each way but it’s worth it all! Enjoy the beautiful baroque buildings and the remains from the Turkish Empire in the 1600s. In Eger, you will have a guided tour in the very fascinating city that exudes exciting history and has very beautiful buildings. The area surrounding Eger is one of the largest wine-growing areas in Hungary, particularly known for the wine called "Bull’s blood". You will have lunch in the oldest wine cellar in the city. The lunch will be combined with wine tasting.
