Pat Liddy is a famous righter and artist from Dublin who has developed a unique lecture service and guided walks in Dublin. These are composed of Pat Liddy’s himself and are based on his many years of experience, historical research and a collection of anecdotes and legendary stories about Ireland's capital. The tours are brought to life by Pat Liddy himself or his team of specialized and passionate Irish guides.

Pat Liddy offers 12 exciting walks which can be tailored and adapted to your wishes.
Below you will see the 12 tours - all tours are equally exciting but we have allowed ourselves to describe a few:

On this tour, you hear about Dublin and the rest of Ireland's often violent history from ancient times to today. You will past Dublin Castle, Trinity College, O'Connel Street, Dublin Central Post Office (GPO Headquarters for Easter Rise 1916), Memorial Gardens, Collins Barracks, etc. Along the way you will be told stories of the many centuries' struggles at Ireland's independence from various invading enemies. • In the footsteps of Leopold Bloom, the protagonist of James Joyces 'Ulysses'.
In preparation for this trip you should read James Joyce's most famous novel, Ulysses.
During the trip the storys will be told while following Leopold Bloom's footsteps around the streets and alleys. Although history takes place in 1904 you can easily recognize many of the places – but some places imagination must be used. Quotes as well as elaboration of the book are given along the way as is the story of James Joyce's life. For a small addition it is possible to combine this trip with a visit to the James Joyce Center and / or the old Sweny's Pharmacy which still looks like at that time in 1904 where there is daily reading from James Joyce's works.
