Glasgow Burrell Collection, Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle & The Wallace Monument
Full day bus tour. You will drive from Edinburgh to Glasgow, where you will get a short sightseeing.
After that you go to The Burrell Collection, one of Glasgow’s top attractions. The Glasgow Burrell Collection includes a unique collection of different art treasures from all over the world, from Roman, Greek, and Egyptian treasures to paintings, antique furniture, etc. The collection is the result of the collection mania of ship-owner Sir William Burrell.
Then you will drive north to the idyllic Loch Lomond where you can get a cruise on one of the most beautiful lakes in Scotland. Loch Lomond is also the largest lake in Great Britain.
After that, you go north-east to Stirling to visit Stirling Castle. The tour continues to the Wallace Monument, situated in the outskirts of Stirling. The monument was raised in memory of the Scottish national hero, Sir William Wallace. From the top of the monument (242 steps) there is a fantastic view of the Stirling area.
After visiting the Wallace Monument you go back to Edinburgh.
