Full-day excursion to Pompei and Vesuvio
The coach will meet you at the hotel and you will reach Pompeii, located approx. 30 km from Naples, where you will meet your guide.
You will start the tour at the archaeological site, which will last approx. 3 hours.
Pompeii was an ancient Roman town near modern Naples, in the Campania region of Italy. Along with Herculaneum and many villas in the surrounding area, it was mostly destroyed and buried under 4 to 6 m of volcanic ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in AD 79.
After a lunch break, you will continue to Mount Vesuvio, where you will meet the so-called Guida (guide) Alpina and you will reach the crater through a path.
You will return to Naples in the afternoon (the itinerary may change during wintertime with Vesuvio in the morning and Pompeii in the afternoon).
There will be free entrance for school groups if you bring an official documentation from the school.
You will be charged a fee of 10 EURO for reservation.
Please note, that there will be a parking fee on the spot.
